How We Designed a Custom Crystal Bracelet Builder That Gets 100+ Orders a Day

In short: people don’t shop for “Pyrite 8mm”. They shop for a feeling — more money, more love, more calm. So we designed Satv Aura’s bracelet builder to start from an intention, show the bracelet changing live, and make sizing impossible to get wrong. Today Satv Aura takes 100+ orders a day.

The brief: make a one-of-one bracelet feel effortless

Satv Aura sells natural AAA crystal bracelets. The team wanted shoppers to design their own — but a custom product can easily become a form full of decisions. Every extra choice is a chance to leave. Our job was to keep the creativity and remove the effort.

Three questions shaped the design:

1. Where does the shopper start? Not with a stone list — with a goal.
2. How do they know it looks good? A live preview that updates bead by bead.
3. How do we make sure it fits? Wrist size as a clear, guided step, not a footnote.

1. Start from an intention, not a catalogue

The builder opens with five intentions — Wealth, Love, Peace, Protection and Health. Each loads a curated starting combination. A new visitor gets a beautiful bracelet in one tap; an expert can still change every bead. This single decision does most of the work: it turns “I don’t know crystals” into “I want this one”.

2. A live bracelet, bead by bead

The preview shows 18 beads on a real bracelet render. Tap a bead, pick a crystal from 25+ natural AAA stones, and it changes in place. Seeing the result is what gives people the confidence to pay for something made just for them.

• Small, honest photos of each stone, so colour and texture match what arrives.
• Combination labels such as “Best Wealth Combination”, so good choices are easy to repeat.

3. Sizing and add-ons as their own steps

Wrist size is a dedicated step, because a bracelet that doesn’t fit is a return. Then come the emotional add-ons: the Wish Lock and a Wish Paper to write an intention on. They raise order value naturally because they belong to the story, not to an upsell pop-up.

4. Mobile-first, fast, and on Shopify

Many Satv Aura shoppers arrive from social media on a phone. The builder keeps the bracelet preview prominent, uses large tap targets, and loads optimised images so it feels instant. Everything runs on Shopify, and the chosen beads, size and add-ons go through with the order, so the workshop receives a complete brief with every order.

5. A finder for people who need help choosing

Some shoppers still ask “which crystals are right for me?”. For them we added Crystal Expert — a 3-step finder that uses date of birth and intention to suggest a three-crystal combination, then opens it in the builder with one tap. Read the full story in our Crystal Expert article.
